From the 14th to the 18th of April The UCAM will celebrate, a Worldwide Conference in tribute to Pope John Paul II. The conference will be presided by the President of the Congregation of Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments, Cardinal Antonio Cañizares Llovera, and he will talk with the participation of a number of important Cardinals and experts about the figure of the polish Pope. During the congress a statue in honour of the Pope John Paul II will be blessed that has made by the Spaniard Venacio Blanco and will be placed within the Campus.

The event will discuss the distinct aspects of the person and papacy of the late Pope. His relation with the youth, his travels, his misionary and echumenic promotion, his influence in the new configuration of Europe, his efforts in New Evangelization, and especially his substantial teachings will be the main subjects of this worldwide meeting.
