Program

· Inaugural Act in collaboration with the Secretariat of the Episcopal Commission of Social Pastoral.

· Opening Conference: ‘Fundaments of Social Charitable Action’, by His Excellency Cardinal Archbishop Antonio María Rouco Varela, Cardinal Archbishop of Madrid and President of the Spanish Episcopal Conference.

· Talk: ‘The Activities of the Episcopal Conference in the area of Social Pastoral’, by D. Fernando Fuentes Alcántara, Head of the Episcopal Conference Secretariat of Social Pastoral.

23^rd Feb: Venue: Auditorio Ängel Herrera /(Madrid), time: 19.00.

· Charity and Volunteerism Fair. Participation of national and international charity associations. Location:  Alfonso X el Sabio Avenue (Murcia). Dates: from 26th to 29th February. Opening event: on 26^th February at 12:00 a.m., which will be attended by the following ecclesiastical dignitaries: His Excellency Monsignor P. J. Cordes, Head of the Pontifical Council “Cor Unum”, Monsignor Manuel Ureña Pastor, Bishop of Cartagena, Monsignor Javier Azagra Labiano, Bishop Emeritus of Cartagena and representatives of the governing council of Murcia.

· Lecture: “Psychological and Theological Realities in the practical aspect of aiding and guiding people” by Prof. Dr. Heinrich Pompey, Head of the Charity-Sciences Institute of Friburg. Day: 26 February. Time: 18:30. Place: UCAM

· Lecture: “Theology of Charity and Social Doctrine of the Church” by His Excellency Monsig. P.J. Cordes, Chairman of the Pontifical Council “Cor Unum”. Day: 26 February. Time: 20:30. Venue: UCAM

· Charity event for the purchase of radiology equipment for the hospital at Dschang (Cameroon), managed by the Sisters of Charity. Day: 27 February. Time: 21:00. Venue: Murcia.

· Charity and Volunteerism International Awards Ceremony. Day: 27 February. Time: 21:00. Venue: Murcia.

· International Young Song of Solidarity Contest. February 28^th Venue: UCAM.

· Cinema Forum: ‘Education and Human Rights’ by Dr. Ascensión Escamilla Velara, “Idente” Missionary and responsible for the International Solidarity Program.

· Testimony – Lecture: ‘St. Francis of Assisi Charity Life’ by Father José Rodríguez Carballo, General Minister of the Franciscan Minor Friars. March, 4^th, Time: 20:30 Venue: UCAM

· Closing Ceremony of the project ‘Get to know other Areas’ and meeting with diplomatic corps accredited in Spain, to be chaired by Monsignor Manuel Monteiro, Papal Nuncio in Spain. March 6^th, Time: 12.00 Venue: UCAM.
